Other causes include home fires and traffic accidents. According to the U.S. National Fire Protection Association, people aged 65 years or older are twice as likely to die in home fires as other age groups. Drivers older than 65 years, along with teenagers, have the highest traffic accident rates, according to the U.S. National Safety Council. |
